Elviria is a beautiful, serene and peaceful place which homes affordable luxury villas, townhouses, modern apartments with lush green hills, palm trees and golf courses nearby. It is situated between Calahonda and Marbella and is less than 40 minutes away from Malaga International Airport, easily reachable by car or bus.
Although similar to Calahonda by the way of it being mainly a residential town, Elviria is well surrounded with amenities and is also easily accessible to and from other areas along the coast.

Elviria, a prestigious urbanization located on the western most tip of Hacienda Las Chapas was first named by Salvador Guerrero, a true romantic, after his wife 'Elvira Tallifer'. The land was mostly tended to by tenant farmers as the industry of the time was mostly in agriculture and in mining iron ore and graphite. His vision was to convert this little known area east of Marbella into the vibrant cosmopolitan hub you see today.
By the late 1960’s, Marbella had most of the ingredients to eventually become a major, quality holiday and residential tourist destination with a 12-month season, rather than simply a summer holiday resort.
Whilst there are no specific museums or sites in Elviria, you are so central to everything that site seeing is not too far away for you to enjoy the Spanish culture and traditional cuisine. Don´t forget you can always book excursions too which is always a fun way to get around and see the beauties and wanders of Spain!
Elviria is close to and offers a number of different temptations to satisfy your leisure needs.
Like with most places along the coast, Elviria is home and close to a number of spectacular golf courses. You will certainly not get bored of choices. For other leisure activities there is a sports centre and two tennis clubs, the Hofsaess Tennis College and the El Casco Tennis Club. The Elviria beach line also homes a number of fun and entertaining beach clubs, the famous being Nikki Beach which is very popular to many holiday makers looking to experience the pleasurable atmosphere with friends. There are also a number of different Chiringuitos and traditional beach bars where you can enjoy your tapas and cocktails!
There are four main schools in Elviria, The English International College, Colegio Ecos and Colegio Alemán Juan Hoffmann which are both bilingual schools, and Colegio Bilingüe Las Chapas which is a private school.
Whilst there are no main hospitals in Elviria, never fear as there are quite a few not far away. The main hospital to go to from Elviria would be Hospital Costa del Sol which is roughly a 5 – 10 minute drive. You do have other options and pharmacies in Elviria main town, however if you need anything urgent then this would be the best hospital to go to.
Elviria has a local Police station and the Town Hall is situated in the centre of town along with a post office and church.
If you´re still set on the dream of late night partying on the beaches then, again, Nikki Beach is the place for you to enjoy some much needed fun. Open until late you will certainly be guaranteed a fantastic night with great music and drinks. Fun by day and even more fun by night! As part of the summer celebrations, guests from all over the globe fly in to enjoy it´s well lived-up to reputation and superb atmosphere. Every year in May, Nikki Beach hosts its famous 'White Party' and ´Closing Red Party` is usually hosted around October. Both parties are reservation and ticket only, however well worth the money!
Towards the residential section of Elviria are a number of different bars to choose from where you can enjoy a late night drink up until 4am. Of course you also have your many different restaurants to choose from if you fancy just a nice evening meal out with a lovely glass of Spanish wine.
If you want to mix it up a little and do a little bar hopping don’t forget Marbella is only 10 minutes away and fully diverse when it comes to music and drinks and late night fun. Marbella port is another well-liked destination for a night out by all ages.
